RadioBOSS provides audio conversion capability to convert files to other audio formats. By default, the program supports CD audio, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG. To add more audio formats, users need to download and install relevant plugins (For more information, see Enabling plugins).

op_converter_1

To convert to a new format, follow these steps:

1. In the Playlist window, select a track.

2. From the right-click menu, select Convert...

The Settings dialog opens.

3. Choose a folder when you want to save the converted file.

4. From the drop-down Codec menu, select a required format.

Below the Codec menu, users can see an option Show parameters window before encoding. If this option is enabled, the window with codec settings appears on every conversion. If disabled, conversion starts immediately using default settings.

Depending on the selected format of a codec, relevant values are loaded into the encoder settings fields. Users can modify these values and save, or delete  the encoder profile settings all together. These operations can be performed via buttons below the encoder settings (Add, Save, Delete).

5. Click OK to start conversion.
