In the Crossfades window the default crossfade parameters (Music) and crossfades for the file types are set. Those settings can be overridden in the Track Tool or the Segue Editor.

 

Crossfade priorities are as follows: Segue Editor > Track Tool > File Types > Music.

 

The "Override previous track mix" option in the file type's crossfades takes precedence over all other Mix values, except when the Segue Editor was used.
